Student Council membership is based on teacher and self nomination. The Student Council organization is designed to build leadership skills, experience, and participation in the Martha Brown student government. Student Council helps to organize several events including: the school's major fundraiser, Spirit Week, the MB Talent Show, Box Tops for Education, and many more. Members not only gain understanding in helping to organize and run these events, but also have the opportnity to go on field trips, participate in a lock-in, and earn leadership "stars".
