S T A R   Students and Teachers Achieve Results
The STAR program is based on a partnership of students, teachers,
and parents. The STAR program does not only focus on content,
but also on skills that lead to success in school, including:

• Thinking Skills • Team Building    • Organization
• Gathering Information • Social Skills • Self-esteem

Throughout the program, a team of teachers plan lessons around a particular theme. This summer, the program is centered around a RESTAURANT theme.

English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies skills are incorporated into the theme.

Reading, Science and Social Studies, and Math skills are the foundation of many
cooperative projects and activities throughout the program.

Students are split into three teams and also switch
between three classes throughout the morning.

Ireland - Reading

 Greece - Science / S.S.

 United States - Math 

The theme of the STAR program this summer is "restaurant,"
making it easy to tastefully succeed in middle school...
