We are calling on the Raider Nation to join us on Friday, September 20 at Fairport High School for our annual Homecoming extravaganza!
This year's event promises to be bigger and better than ever, with a packed schedule of activities for the entire community to enjoy. Kick off the evening with delicious food from local food trucks starting at 5 p.m. Then, join in the excitement of the community pep rally at 7:15 p.m., where you can cheer on your favorite Raider teams. Gather around the bonfire at 8 p.m. before the night culminates in a fireworks display at 8:30 p.m.
Throughout the event, there will be a variety of athletic contests happening. At 4:30 p.m. in the FHS gym, our varsity boys volleyball team will take on Victor/HFL/Honeoye in a divisional match. Shortly after at 5 p.m., the varsity crossover field hockey team will compete against Eastridge on the FHS turf field. Be sure to check the Section V athletics schedule to see when all of our Raider student-athletes will be playing during Homecoming week.
Transportation to and from Homecoming is available through a shuttle service that runs from 5 to 9 p.m. Pick-up and drop-off locations include:
- Perinton Community Center north parking lot (off Turk Hill Road)
- Dudley Elementary School main entrance
- Martha Brown Middle School main entrance
- Minerva DeLand School main entrance
Please note that there is no general parking at Fairport High School, so parking will be limited to accessible spaces only.
A few friendly reminders for all attendees:
- This event is rain or shine.
- No backpacks or coolers will be allowed at Homecoming events.
- All students/children in eighth grade or below must be accompanied by an adult at Homecoming events. Unaccompanied students/children in eighth grade or below will be asked to leave.
