Community Supports/Resources

Upon request, school districts must make available to parents information about where an independent educational evaluation may be obtained. Parents also have a right to be informed of where they may obtain free or low-cost legal and other relevant services at no expense to the school district (New York State Regulations of the Commissioner of education, Section 200.4).
