Fairport High School Foreign Exchange Program

The Fairport High School Foreign Exchange Program is for one school year. We do not host for semesters or shorter. FHS has a limit of five (5) students per year. Please use this page as a resource if you are interested in participating in the program or hosting.

Guidelines to Entry:

  • Foreign Exchange student must be entering their 11th or 12th-grade year. Students in 10th grade will not be considered.
  • Students will be registered as “seniors” at FHS. 
  • Foreign Exchange student/family contacts an approved Host Program Liaison from the list below to begin the process for potential placement by next year.
  • Host Program Liaison will contact FHS with the student’s information for review and approval by the FHS Principal.
  • Contact the White House office at FHS by calling (585) 421-2301 to have the student approved
  • Once the student arrives, you must contact the District Registrar, Traci Hall, at (585) 421-2009 for an appointment to register in the district
  • Once registered, you must make an appointment with a guidance counselor at FHS by calling (585) 421-2108 to have courses selected
