Reminders

  • Please review your contact numbers in Schooltool to be sure they are up to date. Contact our Pupil Registrar if there are any changes at (585) 421-2009.
  • We do not provide early dismissal transportation for private and parochial schools. If transportation is needed, we will come at the regularly scheduled times.
  • Childcare transportation requests for the upcoming year should be submitted to the Transportation Department by April 1st of the year prior.  These requests are needed to complete the scheduling of bus routes. Please note that any changes requested after August 30th will be processed in the order they are received.
  • Bus Passes: District policy does not support students riding buses to friends' houses for social reasons. With a district our size, it is unreasonable to accommodate a large volume of alternative transportation requests. A request for a bus pass can be made for emergency situations but only as a last resort and will need approval from administrators.
  • Bus schedules for all students will be sent via ParentSquare.
  • Please make sure your house numbers are visible from the road.
  • Note for new parents - Parents whose children will be starting kindergarten in the upcoming school year or who are new to the Fairport Central School District: If your child is riding the bus from home to school in the morning and from school  to home in the afternoon, you do not need to fill out any transportation forms. Bus schedules for the upcoming school year will be available via ParentSquare App before the beginning of the school year. You can download the ParentSquare App from the QR codes below.

Safety

Bus Safety Guide: Click on the Bus Safety Guide for ways to help keep your children safe in and around our school buses.

Bus Passes: District policy does not support students riding buses to friends' houses for social reasons.  With a district our size, it is unreasonable to accommodate a large volume of alternative transportation requests.  A request for a bus pass can be made for emergency situations but only as a last resort and will need approval from the Administrators.

Please help us by looking critically at your house and mailbox numbers on your home! Can you easily read the number if you are looking for your home from the road?

The Town of Perinton Code requires numbers on principal structures to be:

  • Not less than four inches in height.
  • In Arabic numerals.
  • In plain view from the road.
  • In sharp contrast with their background so as to be clearly legible.

Having clearly identifiable house numbers greatly helps our school bus drivers and substitute drivers safely transport our students to and from school. Thank you.
