Board of Education Workshop Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month at 5:00 p.m. unless otherwise indicated. There are no Public Comments at workshop meetings
unless otherwise indicated. The Regular Board of Education Business Meetings are also held on the third Tuesday of each month unless otherwise indicated. Public Comments are at 7:00 p.m. except on the dates indicated below. Both meetings will be held at Fairport High School, 1 Dave Paddock Way, in Room 512. Individuals who choose to participate in the public comment period must remember that they are bound by the terms outlined in this policy (click here to read the policy that was updated on November 16, 2021) and must conduct themselves in a manner commensurate with the laws, regulations, and policies that govern the operation of Board of Education meetings. The following rules and procedures shall govern the public comment period of meetings of this Board.

Information & Process for speakers:

• 30 minutes may be set aside on regular meeting agendas to provide public comment by District employees and residents only.
• Speakers shall have a maximum of three (3) minutes each.
• Individuals who wish to speak during the public comments must sign-up in advance. For more information on this process, contact the District Clerk at (585) 421-2010.

Board of Education members visit monthly staff and students at each of the District's buildings.

Board members, accompanied by a student guide, visit classrooms to observe students in a learning environment, followed by meeting with the building principal, and lunch with faculty in the Faculty Dining Room. Visits for the 2022-2023 school year will be announced shortly.
