We believe in educating every child and the whole child.

We know that learning takes place both in and out of the classroom. We will offer a wide breadth of opportunities so students may explore their interests, stimulate their desire to learn and grow and reach their full potential.

We strive to cultivate an environment that develops and nurtures the art and science of teaching and learning as determined by research-based best practices. We believe everyone in our district contributes to the education of students and aim to provide professional learning opportunities where every professional can grow in their practice.

We commit to continuous facilities maintenance and improvement in order to provide safe and inviting facilities where our students are able to explore, innovate, create and develop their abilities.

We are dedicated to building more sustainable practices that reduce the environmental impact of our operations to ensure the well-being of our community and our environment.

We believe in being stewards to our community and their tax dollars, through transparency and maximizing resources, as well as through fiscal sustainability and planning.

By staying true to our core beliefs, our children will be able to perform at their highest level; emotionally, cognitively, creatively and physically. We know the true outcome for a Fairport education is success in life, including, but not limited to: being healthy, compassionate, engaged, ethical, and respectful individuals, taking civic responsibility, thinking critically and adapting effectively in an ever-changing environment.
