Tuesday, June 3, 2025 saw the kickoff of the construction phase of the Fairport for the Future 2023 Capital Improvement Project at Fairport High School.

Fairport voters approved the project - which included two Propositions - in October 2023. Yesterday, school officials, former and current Board of Education members, community partners and students broke ground at the site of the new Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math addition and the new tennis courts. They also did some *light* demolition at the site of the old track and field facility. Passers-by will start to see a lot of action at Fairport High School as this project moves into high gear.
