Free meals for Fairport students in 2025-2026

As of July 1, 2025, Fairport Central School District has been approved for the Provision 2 section of the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program. This program allows all students of Fairport, regardless of income, to receive one free breakfast and one free lunch per day. As of now, we have received confirmation that this program will continue through June 30, 2026.
Please note that the free meal program does not include a la carte items such as snacks, extra milk, or ice cream. In addition, this does not cover a student purchasing a double lunch.
Why should families complete this application?
- The District relies on completed applications for the purpose of New York State aid. If fewer applications are completed, the District’s state aid could decrease, and we risk not offering the exceptional programs that Fairport families have come to expect.
What benefits could eligible families qualify for by completing the Free and Reduced Meals application?
- Reduced rates on internet services
- Advanced Placement, SAT and ACT exams
The completion and submission of this application by families is essential to the calculation of NYS Aid and will continue to allow the District to offer educational, athletic and extracurricular opportunities for our students!
