Welcoming Anthony “Skip” Kunecki to the Fairport Central School District team
The District is proud to announce that pending Board of Education approval on July 11, Anthony “Skip” Kunecki will join the Fairport CSD administration as the Assistant Principal at Brooks Hill Elementary School. His knowledge of primary education and experience in cultivating relationships with staff, students and families will make him a great asset to the Brooks Hill community.
Mr. Kunecki joins Fairport from the Webster Central School District, where he has served as Assistant Principal at Plank Road North Elementary School since 2021. During his tenure there, Mr. Kunecki facilitated a transformation of the schools’ comprehensive master schedule in order to better meet the needs of students. Mr. Kunecki’s dedication to creating warm, affirming and inclusive environments is reflected in his work managing the Student Helper Program for fifth-graders, which promotes leadership opportunities. Mr. Kunecki worked with his team to re-organize “Plank North Data Days” to improve efficiency and focus to better understand Tier 1 and Tier 2 instruction.
Before joining the Webster Central School District, Mr. Kunecki worked as a Physical Education Instructor in the Canandaigua City School District. He and his family live in Fairport.
