Children who will be five years old, on or before Dec. 1, 2024, are eligible to attend kindergarten for the 2024-2025 school year at Fairport Central School District. The District is encouraging parents/guardians to register their child during Kindergarten Registration, which begins in February.

Parents will need to register at the school that their child will attend (see below for specific information for each school). The registration packet is available. If you are new to the District or do not know which school your child will attend, call the Registrar’s Office at (585) 421-2009.

Transportation

All daycare transportation requests must be returned to the Transportation Office no later than April 1, 2024. The address is 860 Ayrault Road, Fairport, NY 14450. If you are unsure of your daycare needs, you may indicate that on the transportation form but it still needs to be turned in by the deadline.

Brooks Hill – In-Person Registration – no appointment is necessary

• Tuesday, February 6:          9:30 – 11:00 a.m.
• Wednesday, February 7:         3:30 – 5:30 p.m.
• Thursday, February 8:            9:30 – 11:00 a.m.

On these registration dates, the school will be collecting registration material only. The parent/guardian present will need identification and completed forms to complete the registration process. While at least one parent is required to be present at registration, the child does not need to be present. Jefferson Avenue – Drop-off only any time before March 1, 2024

Parents/guardians of incoming kindergarteners are asked to submit completed registration paperwork by any of the following ways by March 1, 2024:

• Fax documents to (585) 377-3320
• Scan and email documents to joanne.wielandt@fairport.org.
• Place documents (with the checklist on the front) in the provided envelope from the school and safely drop off at the locked drop box located outside the main entrance to Jefferson Avenue School, 303 Jefferson Avenue.

If you do not have access to technology or a copier and need copies made, you may stop by the JA Main Office and we would be happy to support you.  Additionally, if your child has any medical or health issues that need to be brought to the attention of our nurses, or you have health questions, please call the Health Office directly at (585) 421-2187 to schedule a time to meet in person or have a phone conference.

Dudley School – Drop-off only any time before March 1, 2024

Parents/Guardians of incoming kindergarteners are asked to submit completed registration paperwork by any of the following ways by March 1st, 2024:

• Scan and email documents to lisa.cook@fairport.org
• Fax documents to 585-421-2328
• Drop off documents to the Dudley Main office within the hours of 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM by March 1st
