The Fairport Central School District is proud to celebrate the work of student artists who participated in the Rochester Institute of Technology ‘START HERE’ exhibition. The exhibition showcases art by Rochester-area middle and high school students. Art teachers are allowed to select only two student works each year to submit on their students’ behalf. Eleven Fairport students participated in the exhibition this year at RIT’s Bevier Gallery. Two Fairport student works were selected for awards. Congratulations to Martha Brown student Ryen R. and Fairport High School student Isabella W. on their awards. Rylen’s work earned the Dimensional Illustration Award from the School of Art, and Isabella was awarded by the Industrial Design department at RIT’s School of Design.
