Board Meetings and Workshops
2026-2027 Board of Education Meetings
Board of Education Workshop Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month at 5:00 p.m. unless otherwise indicated. There are no Public Comments at workshop meetings unless otherwise indicated. The Regular Board of Education Business Meetings are also held on the third Tuesday of each month unless otherwise indicated. Public Comments are at 7:00 p.m. except on the dates indicated below. Both meetings will be held at Fairport High School, 1 Dave Paddock Way, in Room 512. If there are questions or the need for further information, please call the District Clerk at 421-2010.
BOE Business Meetings are also video streamed live to our district YouTube Channel unless otherwise noted. All previous meeting videos are available on our YouTube Channel as well.
Public Comments at Board Meetings
Individuals who choose to participate in the public comment period must remember that they are bound by the terms outlined in Board Policy and must conduct themselves in a manner commensurate with the laws, regulations, and policies that govern the operation of Board of Education meetings. The following rules and procedures shall govern the public comment period of meetings of this Board.
Information & Process for speakers:
- 30 minutes may be set aside on regular meeting agendas to provide public comment by District employees and residents only.
- Speakers shall have a maximum of three (3) minutes each.
- Individuals who wish to speak during the public comments must sign-up in advance. For more information on this process, contact the District Clerk at (585) 421-2004.
Board of Education members visit monthly staff and students at each of the District's buildings.
Board members, accompanied by a student guide, visit classrooms to observe students in a learning environment. Visits for the 2024-2025 school year will be announced shortly.
Policy Meetings
Meetings are 7:30-9 a.m. at the District Office conference room unless otherwise noted.
