Welcome to Minerva DeLand School, the designated building for all freshmen who attend Fairport Central School District. We look forward to supporting students and their families during the first year of high school. At Minerva DeLand our students receive a rigorous education that addresses their academic, social-emotional, and life skills.
Vision:
Together, the Minerva DeLand School community will build an environment where all learners are empowered to attain their potential.
Mission:
We are committed to creating a respectful, caring and safe learning environment where every student is supported in achieving his/her intellectual, academic, artistic, physical and social potential. We recognize the unique opportunity of our school, where, for the first time, we unify our freshman class. Students will discover their individual strengths, collaborate with each other and the community, celebrate diversity, and become productive citizens and life-long learners.
