The Fairport Central School District is proud to announce the creation of the Fairport Red Raider Athletic Hall of Fame, which recognizes the athletic achievements of the past and inspires future generations of our talented student-athletes. The Fairport Red Raider Athletic Hall of Fame is an opportunity to honor luminaries who have made significant contributions to the legacy of Fairport athletics.
A selection committee of coaches, administrators and alumni accept nominations for the Hall of Fame throughout the spring and vote on a slate of inductees to be honored at the upcoming induction ceremony.
We invite you to submit nominations to the Fairport Red Raider Athletic Hall of Fame. Nominees shall be considered in any of these four categories: athletes, coaches, varsity teams and administrators/contributors. Nominees who were Fairport Central School District students must be at least 10 years beyond attending Fairport schools before they are eligible for selection. It is not required to be a graduate of Fairport High School to be selected.
Athletes must have attended a Fairport school for a least one academic year and participated in a varsity sport. Coaches must have coached a Fairport team(s) for at least 10 years. Teams must have won at least one Section V championship. Contributors must have made a significant impact on the Fairport athletic program. That may include but is not limited to administrators, counselors, faculty, student managers, community members, booster club members, etc.
